Nature’s Carpet Expands its Operations Throughout Canada and the United States

Over the past two years, Nature’s Carpet has been in the process of entering the mainstream flooring market across Canada and the United States. Historically, the natural wool broadloom collection has been viewed as more of a niche product. Now that eco-consciousness and sustainable building materials are becoming the new norm for residential and commercial projects alike, Nature’s Carpet is making its way into more flooring dealers than ever before, with Vancouver, B.C. leading the way.

In British Columbia alone, as of 2017 there were estimated to be more than 20,000 green buildings in every corner of the province, with more popping up every week. These buildings are a major driver of B.C.’s clean economy, and they continue to pave the way for the future of the building industry. This future will see all new construction be net-zero energy ready by 2032, and will lead to healthier, more comfortable, and more affordable buildings becoming the norm in our communities.

At Colin Campbell, we are proud to be supporting the overall growth in the green building sector via Nature’s Carpet and we hope that in time, consumers will better understand the important health and environmental benefits of using sustainable materials in the home, such as natural wool carpet.
