Beth Hall
Beth Hall brings her sense of wonder and adventure to her photography. Her work exudes a love for texture, vibrancy, and the details that hide amongst the everyday. She is drawn to bold colours and creative expression in all forms, allowing her to create images that fuse elements of design, painting, nature and the performing arts. Taken in nature and urban settings, Hall captures her images in-camera. Her ability to play with light, movement and exposure - shooting ordinary subjects in extraordinary ways - invites the viewer to bring their own interpretation to each piece. It is through this method that her works often resemble a painting more than a photograph.

Johnny Taylor
We are honoured to work with local artist, Johnny Taylor, in a collaboration of three beautiful rugs based on his paintings. Johnny has been pursuing his current methodology for the past fifteen years. His recent work combines aspects of modern architecture, traditional Chinese painting and Japanese woodblock prints. His foundation was shaped by early Canadian landscape painting, abstract expressionism and blueprint drafting.

Petra Kaksonen
Petra is a Vancouver-based designer with more than 20 years of graphic design and art direction experience, working with clients in North America and Europe. Inspired by simplicity and functionality of Nordic design, Petra designs colourful, minimalist patterns. “I grew up in Finland, where I spent my childhood running around in polkadots and stripes – clothes made by my fashion-forward, feisty Karelian grandmother – igniting a deep passion for bold patterns and textiles. Surrounded by lakes and forests, my summer cabin in Eastern Finland is my creative, happy place that brings me endless source of inspiration and joy.”

Sacred Places: Threads of History
Sacred Places: Threads of History is a hand-knotted area rug collection made up of three original designs and is a collaboration project between Colin Campbell, accomplished Coast Salish weavers Chepximiya Siyam’ Chief Janice George and Skwetsimeltxw Willard ‘Buddy’ Joseph from the Squamish Nation, and The Campaign for Wool Canada. This special rug collaboration is inspired by the revered sites significant to the Squamish Nation and the rich tapestry of ancestral narratives they embody. The rugs are hand-made using 100% Canadian Wool. The yarn for this rug collection was provided by Briggs & Little Woolen Mills Ltd, Canada’s oldest woolen mill.

Zoë Pawlak
Contemporary artist and designer Zoë Pawlak is known for her confident, ever-evolving practice. Born and based in Vancouver, Pawlak received her BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, followed by an exchange at Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
